If something isn’t right, we want to fix it. Here’s how returns and refunds work at Lit & Cozy.
The 14-day window
You have 14 days from delivery to start a return for a refund or exchange. Email support@litandcozy.com with your order number and the reason — we don’t make you fill out a form.
What can be returned
- Unused items in their original packaging.
- Items received damaged or defective (we cover full cost; see below).
- Wrong item shipped (our mistake — we cover everything).
What can’t be returned
- Items marked “Final Sale” at checkout.
- Used or damaged items (unless damaged on arrival).
- Gift cards and digital products.
- Items returned more than 14 days after delivery.
Who pays return shipping
- Change of mind, didn’t like, ordered wrong size: you cover return shipping. We refund the item cost only, not original shipping.
- Damaged, defective, wrong item: we cover everything. Send us a photo first and in many cases we won’t even need the item back.
How long refunds take
Once we receive the return (or approve a damage claim), we issue refunds within 3 business days. Bank or card processing then takes another 5–10 business days. Total: under 2 weeks in most cases.
Refunds go to the original payment method. We can’t refund to a different card or account.
Late or missing parcels
If your order is 45+ days late from order date with no tracking update for the last 14 days, email us. We’ll open a carrier investigation and refund or replace within 7 business days. Our shipping window is generous on purpose so this is rare — but it does happen.
Cancellations
Need to cancel? Email us within 12 hours of ordering. After that, your order is in the packing pipeline and can’t be stopped — but you can still return it once it arrives.
Exchanges
We don’t formally process exchanges — they get tangled in international shipping. The cleanest way: return the original (we refund), and place a new order for what you actually wanted.
