Welcome to Lit & Cozy. By using this site or buying from us, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. About us
Lit & Cozy is an independently operated online shop selling reading accessories. We are a small business; we make mistakes and we appreciate patience when we do.
2. Eligibility
To purchase from us you must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian. By placing an order, you confirm this.
3. Products and pricing
- All prices are in US Dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise.
- We reserve the right to change prices, descriptions, and availability at any time. Prices at the time of your order are honored.
- We try to display product photos and descriptions accurately, but slight variation in color, texture, and finish is normal — these are small handcrafted-feel goods.
- Quantities of curated items are limited. If something sells out after you order, we’ll refund and let you know within 48 hours.
4. Orders and payment
- Orders are accepted only when you receive an order confirmation email.
- We reserve the right to cancel any order — for example, if there’s a pricing error, suspected fraud, or stock issue. In that case we refund in full.
- Payment is processed via Stripe and/or PayPal. We do not store card details.

See our Shipping Policy for full details. In short: most orders ship within 1–3 business days; delivery to the US typically takes 14–30 days. International customers are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes.
6. Returns and refunds
See our Refund & Returns Policy. We accept returns within 14 days of delivery for unused items in original packaging.
7. Intellectual property
All site content — text, photos, brand name, design, and arrangement — is owned by Lit & Cozy or used with permission. You may not reproduce or republish without written consent. Personal use (saving an image to a Pinterest board, sharing a link) is fine.
8. User-submitted content
If you tag us on social media or send us photos, you grant us a non-exclusive license to repost with credit. You can revoke this anytime by emailing us.
9. Acceptable use
Don’t try to break the site, abuse coupon codes, or use the shop for fraud or spam. We reserve the right to refuse service.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
11. Disclaimers
The site and products are provided “as is”. We make no implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose beyond what your local consumer law requires.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the buyer resides for matters of consumer protection. For all other matters, the laws applicable to the seller’s principal place of business apply, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will reflect changes. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the new Terms.
